The stereotypical “boho” look is over-characterized by peasant dresses, paisley prints, oversized bags and floppy hats. This season we’re calling for a new boho that is more Kate Moss than Mary Kate and Ashley - less hippy and more sexy.
The Essentials for updating the Boho look:
Silk Kimonos: A silk kimono is just as sexy as it sounds. You can dress it up by wearing it over a little black dress or you can dress it down with a burnout tee, leggings and booties. Either way you will look naturally exotic and effortlessly chic.
Animal Prints: Not all animal prints are created equal. Try to avoid the pink and blue leopard print and keep the colours of your second skin natural and true to the original. Snake and other reptile prints are sure to give you that unexpected edge.
Dip-dye: If you have an unforgivable attraction to tie-dye here is your chance to make it acceptable. Dip-dye still has that wild, free-spirited vibe while remaining cool and composed. Dare to mix it in with your day wear or rock it on a night out.
Leather Pants: Any type of leather accent assures a certain level of edginess. The right pair of leather pants can boost your sex appeal and be surprisingly comfortable. Wear them like you wear any other leggings and increase your cool factor.
