What To Do & What To Wear Canada Day Weekend

Finally Canada Day is landing on a Friday, making everyone's long weekend dreams come true. Happy 149th birthday Canada! Fireworks
Happening at different spots around the city (but our fave is Ashbridges Bay) the show of lights never disappoints. Arrive early so as you get a good seat, and dress in layers for when it cools off at night!

Redpath Waterfront Festival
Looking for something different to do? Head down to the docks! Boats, beers, live music and artisans - it's family friendly, and it's a great chance to get a fresh new look at our waterfront!

Jay's Game
We're all on the bandwagon by now and hitting up a game is basically a summer tradition. With a game everday of the weekend, go support our home team against Cleveland, the dome will be open and spirits will be high!

Street Festival
Markets, Street Festivals, Block partys - a sense of community is everywhere in the city and you just have to find the right one. Head to the beaches for garage sales, walk around neighbourhoods and parks to find a little farmers market, just get outside!

Electric Island
For an escape from the city that only takes 15 minutes, it's pretty great. Head to the island for this festival, which features great music with headliners from Europe, food trucks galore, it's a guaranteed good time.
